I have been lurking around here and think i need to join. I have a 91 SE-R with K&N Short Ram Intake, which i need to clean pretty soon. Don't have much cash because i am in college so i am not planning on doing much any time soon.

The SSAC header is one of the best bang for the buck mods out there. They are about $130 shipped brand new. They give you a good kick and sound great, even with the stock exhaust. Look in the Group Buy section in the Classifieds. There are more parts in the Classified section than you could ever possibly imagine. I've scored lots of great deals on stuff.

Also look up "advanced timing" that's totally free!
