: Whats your favorite tool for working on your SR20?
Johnny wangwang 03-06-2007, 01:29 AM Mine is a $7 Crowbar from Harbor Freight. This crowbar has literaly paid for it self so many times that I cant even begin to describe its worth. I seriously want to sleep with my crowbar. It helps me do clutch jobs, it helps me make quick work of pulliing axles out, it helped me take the T25 off of my boys GS-T, it helps me put new clutch cables on, it helps me open my hood because the spring fell off when this chick pulled out in front of me, it helped me get the exaust hangers off my boys GS-T, it helped me gut my cat etc.
I mean I REALLY love this crowbar. It is SO helpful with EVERYTHING and when I use it it just BEGS for more stuff for it to do. I love my crowbar. :naughty:
Whats your favorite tool?
McCoy 03-06-2007, 01:30 AM The rubber mallet... it's a great addition to any wrench or rachet when you need that little extra umph to get something loose :D.
B14 Se-Rious 03-06-2007, 01:38 AM plasma cutter........
swiss 03-06-2007, 01:58 AM I like the timing light . That's always fun. I also love using torque wrenches. :knuck-knick: :)
I found a cheap flywheel tool in a harbor-freight type chinese tool place.
It works alot better than the crowbar method, and only cost about $6 IIRC.
Ninja 03-06-2007, 02:19 AM 15" Craftsman 1/2" Breaker bar. mmmmmm, bolt removal.
jeffinbham 03-06-2007, 02:20 AM i think ratcheting box end wrenches are the greatest thing around, next to compressed air.
Johnny wangwang 03-06-2007, 02:21 AM ^^^oh hell yeah. I love the sound of a bolt that wont turn breaking loose!
brokeser 03-06-2007, 02:52 AM Hydraulic jack, jack stands and a crawler (the crawler being my favorite).
It's great when you can get under your car with enough elbow room. Sometime I jack my baby up just to admire the part I've put in and fall asleep. 99% of the time my wife won't even bother me when she sees my legs sticking out from underneath the car. She thinks I'm fixing something.
