Okay guys, i just installed some JDM cams and bumped up my timing to 19deg, and i had to adjust that idle screw big time to get my idle back up to around 850rpm. Anways whenever i stand near the intake(open air box mod) i hear a little rasp coming from the engine, if i move anywhere else around the engine bay i dont hear it. And when i turn the car off you can really hear it even if your inside the car. Its a smooth single cough/sigh/rasp. Sounds kida like if you breath out really slow with your mouth all open and makeing a rasping sound.
Anways at first i thought i was maby the cams rubbing on something but i had my dad turn off the car and i watched the crank pully and the sound still comes for maby a second or so after the crank has stoped turning. So i dont think its something over torqued on the cams.
The idle is also a little rough but i assume that is from the more aggressive cams.
Im really starting to worrie about the car now, i have taken it on two drives since just to make sure it ran okay, and it ran just fine. So what could it be!?!?!

Comeon guys and girls, im really at a loss here. Could it be rocker arms? But i ran fairly hard today and it ran just dandy. I hope you are all out on trip's for memorial day!

Ok well I'm just taking a shot in the dark on this one. My car makes a hissing sound from the intake. It's nothing bad, just the nature of more air flowing, and you being able to hear it.
