I drove my buddies 03 spec v. I was not impressed at all. The motor is like GM designed it, all torque, no topend at all. Sounds weird. There were more interior rattles in it than my 96 with 100k on it. My car is also faster (S4's/ecu/SSAC header). So a B15 was out of the question when looking for a new car.

The Si is the best car for the money handsdown. It's got 197hp, 6spd, !LSD!, good build quality (not as good as toyota), great chassy, awsome motor. It really was a no brainer. It also doesn't look half bad with a few mods.

I've been on the new civic sites doing hours upon hours of research. The more I'm on the site the more I realize why Honda guys get such a bad rep. It really annoys me sometimes. every other post is SICK! or Slam it!

Without a doubt the Nissan forums, fresh alloy, twinturbo.net, and here are barnone the best car forums I've been on. You guys are awsome. You know your sh*t and don't make retarded tasteless mods to your cars and keep our great rep going and I wanted to thank you all for that.

As for the future the Si will just be my fun econo daily driver. I'm buying the car brand new, with cash and just putting the miles on it. The se-r will begin it's transformation into a dedicated track car and weekend warrior.

Sounds like a lot of the guys on altimas.net, over there it is all about slamming it with 20's. When I told them I bought 17" BBS wheels they all trashed me for not getting at least 19" wheels. My logic was performance, they think otherwise as one guy posted, and I quote Nice rim choice, poor size choice.

Also when I said that I got the Nismo springs/struts they told me that they arent low enough. Its a .9 inch drop. They all recommend the eibach pro's because it is 1.5 inch drop. No one there upgrades their struts when they do springs. I never saw how awesome sr20forum is until I went over to Altimas.net. However, I am there trying to change it. I do dyno comparisons, take measurements and do write-ups and reviews. Hopefully others will see it and maybe my knowledge will educate one of those fools. Oh well, I'm trying.

Good luck with the new car, its your new money pit. When I got my Altima as a DD I said I would mod it besides looks, I think right now the Altima has more goodies than my project car NX2k.

Nice car man. The honda K series with a 6 spd lsd sounds dope. Those engines are built real nice, and they gain tons of power off bolt on mods. Only thing I dont like is that their camshafts cost a shitload. My buddy got one and he loves it.

Thanks, I'm not looking to get power out of the car. Just a nice sport Daily driver that will last forever and will get good gas milage. I've got the 300zx twin turbo for the power haha.

Yep, lots of heat and lots of rubber and plastic. Beautiful cars, great chassy and drivetrain. Just gotta get them in their prime.

Yes there is only a few good car forums left anymore. This has to be one of the best of the last few. tt.net is really good but they will flame anyone who tries to be slightly different, it gets really annoying sometimes.

It's turbocharged. Higher insurance. Poorer gas milage. More Expensive. Quality is not as good as Honda. No local Mazda dealer.
