ok people same question, what cars have you raced and win/lossed , but no street racing *** last tread got locked *** of that. since i started this tread l'll tell you guys my kills:honda civic si, celica gt, probe (ugh), mx-3, mr-2 (didnt know if it was boosting or not , neon (uckk) and other cars i cant think of right now.

That was pretty lame closing the other thread..posting a whole long story of how you zig zagged in and out of traffic with a Honda boy flying by grandma at 115 is a street racing story.

Posting a list of what you have beaten IS NOT. It was not a street racing thread...It was a "what have you beaten"...maybe someone should have read it.

What "I" posted was from myself and a buddy last wednesday night from Speedworld raceway..NOT STREET RACING. I'm not posting to butt heads with Rob, but no one was spouting BS street racing. What should have been done was to post in the thread that any street racing "STORIES" will get the thread closed, as a warning to keep it civil, and not let it get out of hand.

Maybe you didn't post street racing stories, but some did. Specifically, talk about racing a G-20 from one stop light to the next. I don't know about you, but I haven't seen any stop lights at the local drag strip.

These types of threads are an invitation to post street racing stories. I have zero tolerance for such things, as I have seen it cost too many young people and innocent bystanders their lives. I won't close this thread by I will be monitoring it. Remember, zero tolerance.

Re-read the post about the G20..It was me..it was at a track. I didnt say stop light to stop light...it was at the "light", or X mas tree...

I was racing a G20 the other night.I kept beating him.we pull up to the light, and he'd spin em a lil, then I would....just a lil, not too much..then the light would change......and bam....we were both off..all three times I took him by about a car length..we raced to about 90 and shut it down. What a blast...then we followed each other around the lil road and back to the light.and did it all over...

Now those who drag race know what this is...spin em a lil to clean off the tires, x mas tree changed to green and we were off..to about 90.trap speeds, then shut it down and around on the return road to line up and do it again. I do not like street racing "stupidity" either, But this doesnt mean no one will do it..I know people of high stature in the SE-R community who have raced on the street. I have witnessed a few of them. Being stupid on the street is just being stupid. People have been 'getting on it' on the street since the 50's...let's remember this forum is for se-r owners..it is not the Gustapo, nor the Soviet Union. Again, I am not going to butt heads with you on this. I don't think this board will last long if it becomes what the se-r mailing list has. That is the reason this board was made, was to get away from that lists hiarchy.

I don't understand why threads are being censored. If you don't want to read about street racing, just don't click on it - that kind of filtering of posts bothers me.

I myself like reading street racing stories. It gets me pumped up. Its just like reading a good book. I am not gonna sit around and say that street racing is smart, I am not gonna say it is a good thing either. If you are going to do something like that, try to be as safe as you can. I have raced before on the street or light to light. I DO NOT RACE AT 140MPH ON THE FREEWAY DARTING IN AND OUT OF TRAFFIC. THAT IS INSANE! But racing on a deserted road at 3am on Saturday Night/Sunday morning is not that bad. I have done it many a time during the local street races. I am with storm, if you dont want to read about it.....THEN DON'T! If you can show me where in the rules on the forum we can't talk about street racing.......I won't talk about it....but until then..........

yeah i agree with everyone that posted. i thought this was america and something we call freedom of speech still existed, oh well just stick with what cars you have beaten but dont say street or track just what car you have beaten/lost and by how much.

I say the moderators post a "kills" forum! LET FREEDOM RING!

There is a specific reason why there isnt a "KILLS" forum...that is why we dont have one here...we all are going to have our personal opinions. I for one don't think the thread should have been locked. But, we are on a board that is owned and operated by private parties..and they do make the rules.

I do believe that those moderating, and admin should read closely, possibly even read twice before taking action. I am a Mod on www.nissanforums.com and saw what happened when someone went off half cocked with power. I try to be fair and partial..and give those posting the chance to self moderate. This was not done here, and I feel it should have been. Let's let this one die down, as we don't need a kills section to corrupt the board. :)

hell yeah, thats what i'm talking bout. i vote yes for a kills forum.there should be a poll to see if everyone agrees with that.

i think a kills forum is a BAD IDEA. goto the B15sentra.net kills forum. I would say 80% of those stories are complete BS. Oh, my 1.8 XE beat a WRX, and crap like that. anyone can make up crap like that. thats why i left there becuase it was a complete joke. You want to post kill stories, go there...

Just go to the offtopic area if you want to post kill stories.
