The only reason to put that there is street racing and even if that was the case you should still put it in the trunk and just get a bottle opener. yoffer16 03-12-2007, 12:03 PM I put the bottle there because i have two 12inch kicker comps in the trunk and there was NO SPACE at all. Believe me i tried every other spot in the car and that was the only place i could install it. As for the police scanner, i got it at Radio Shack for 100 bucks. They have a new model out that has more channels than that one, but i just set it on SCAN and it'll pick up police frequencies all the time. yoffer16 03-12-2007, 12:05 PM O yea and sorry about the mess. that was a picture the day after i got it installed, and that little stain is actually Sprite that spilled while i was installing it. myprojectB13 03-12-2007, 01:42 PM Shouldn't the bottle be facing the other direction since the pickup is on the bottom? Yes it should and if you don't have any room in the trunk then take out the back seat or the passenger seat and put it there. Also you should definitely get a blow down valve for safety just in case. yoffer16 03-12-2007, 05:28 PM I tried to turn it around like you said. I know that the pickup is down, but when i turn it around the top of the bottle hits underneath the dash. Theres a clearence issue on that, thats why i had it in like that. I later moved it ot the trunk for saefty issues. Also I highly reccomend you turn that bottle around. It is suppose dot be angled with the opening facing up. That can interupt flow.
