Well, you don't need to tell me about how many threads there are on clutches, but my searches are not turning up the best results. I am wondering what I could get for my VE that is under $300? Possable? Thanks for all help folks. Sorry to be redundant.

Under $300? I think I can help. I'm running a 2000-2001 B15 disk with a ACT havy-duty pressure plate. Didnt cost me a whole lot and its good as a basic clutch set-up. I'm sure you could find a cheaper pressure plate, but thats up to you to do:tongue:

I'd say just do the B15 disc... The VE doesn't make much more torque than the DE, so you don't really need a better pressure plate. The B15 disc has a good amount of meat to it, so it should grab better anyway.

I think I'd go with Luke's direction. I did a stage whatever Clutchnet pp and a 6-puck on one side pads on the other disk. It chatters a bit if I don't do it JUST right; must admit, the sucker takes any amount of torque I give it, and there's PLENTY more than the DE up around 4k. BUT I'd like a street clutch feel with the abilty to handle the extra push, so I like the idea of the B15 disk, using maybe an ACT or Clutchnet (they probably make ACT anyway, they make most everybody else's) notch up from stock pp. Hopefully you're talking with Miko - he's got a fix for the very weak clutch cable mount (sits on the bell housing).
