Hi all,

I have recently fitted a HKS induction kit to my Autech Pulsar SR20DE Highport and there seems to be a flat spot now at 70mph in 5th, when I use the throttle gently I seem to get a 'holding back' feel, when I use a bit more throttle it stops doing it.

This has only started happening since the HKS was fitted, I do not yet have a cold air feed, so I assume hot air will be sucked in.

Any reason for the 'holding back'/flat spot feeling?

Thanks, Ben

I'm *not* an expert, but my best guess is that the higher flow intake may have altered your air/fuel ratios slightly. It might take a while for your ECU to "relearn" what's going on and adjust porperly.

Back to standard air box and GREEN panel filter.

Thanks anyway.

I needed to adjust my fuel when I installed the HKS RS intake on my evo.

It was a hassle, but netted me almost 30whp over the OEM intake system
