How many people here are running 10:1 compression and a T25. What boost are you running? Whats your set-up?
And, importantly, is your car a daily driver?
Any dynos?
Ive seen random here and ther posts of people, but I'd like a collective thread to ensure that it would be somewhat safe with the proper safeguards (timing down, fuel pump, injectors, 93 octane, whatever).
Thanks, dudes, I just want to join the boost club.

i have the 10:1 in my car w/the t28, and it runs just fine every day @ 12 lbs of boost. click on the link in my signature for the dyno and a complete list of stuff in the car.

12 psi on 91 octane owl piss? with 10:1?
you are brave, man, or your AFC is turned pretty rich, which would explain the rather low numbers for 12 psi out of a T28.
i did 250 whp and 260 lb-ft at 14-12psi out of a T25.

why was your car only dyno'd to 5800 rpm? i wanted to see if your car falls off on top end

HOLY SHIT but that's a flat torque curve. Personally, I wouldn't tune quite as aggressively, but it's your engine, not mine. :) Why did you put the red valve cover on it?

because the red valve cover looks awesome!!! >:^D
the turbo is actually on it's way out as well...i never had it rebuilt...it doesn't hold boost like it used to >:^( oh well...still fast enough to whoop on the SS camaros

If you were to do a T25 with 10:1 compression, I would surely upgrade to a larger A/R ratio on the turbine exhaust housing. I would recommend at least a .63, but would prefer a .82 A/R. You will significantly have less backpressure with the larger A/R than with a stock .49 A/R that most T25's come with. The higher compression will offset some of the lag, yet it will pull harder on the top end. Your engine should be hitting its peak dyno numbers closer to 6500 versus 5600.
