Alright so i own a 92 Sentra ser...i want to start modding this summer, i was planning on doing a ve swap but im gonna buy an b14 shell for that so im just gonna build this motor up! i was wondering if you guys/gals could give me some options for the following, obviously im not asking for whats the best but i want to know what you guys would do! I want to do a complete motor build and was wondering what rods, bearings, cams and crank i should use...along with the smaller stuff like springs, valves and rings etc... i also want a wai, front and rear strut tower braces, front and rear sway bars. Along with a full exhaust! Again im hoping you guys can just give me some options on what i should use for all of these components...if you just wanna chime in on the exhaust or cams thats fine...any input is really greatly appreciated!
What would you use if it was your car and money wasnt an option!

well i don't have much to comment on but i'll say a couple things, and anyone feel free to correct me if i am wrong. if you are stay N/A i would go with s4 cams since you can use stock valvetrain with them and from what i have heard the sr20's don't like to rev high enough (unless it's a purely race motor) to make power with steeper cams. as far as exhaust i think 2.5" will probably be the best and if you can remove the cat or get a high flow cat. and if you want a nice tunable ecu, then i would also suggest to go with one of calum's ecu's and i've only heard good things about his newest version. i know that active tuning has a rear strut tie bar, but i'm not sure if they are still being made so that might be hard to come across and also with the suspension i would suggest an AGX/road magnet combo if you want a nice drop and really nice handling.. well i hope some of this helps, it was a pretty long post. i hope this goes well for you

If I was doing an all motor build I would probably go with:

-JDM SR20DE (fresh motor)
-CAI with pop charger on the end
-Hotshot Gen 6 header
-3'' exhaust all the way back with no cat/resonator.
-JWT C3 cams
-Some stiff valve springs
-Retainers
-ACT street disc
-ACT HD PP
-Lightweight flywheel
-BFG drag radials;)
-Calum ECU

That should make some decent power right there. I am probably missing out a bit but I just woke up so cut me slack.:tongue: If you have even deeper pockets than start digging into the bottom end of the motor. Also could look into one of the O2 induction manifolds. Building up an SR is definately expensive all motor.

As far as suspension, I personally like the AGX/Hyperco combo. Active tuning RSTB. Stillen or Courtesy FSTB. Progress rear sway bar. Here is a great thread Shawn B made for our suspensions.

That would make your car an animal for being all motor. Just remember getting every bit of that power to the floor is what is important so tires make the difference. Also, weight reduction is your friend.:biggthump

i don't know, but why not go with an SSAC header. Everyone on here say's they're great quality and they're priced around $140. doesn't sound too bad to me
