Are the headers for the se-r's the same as NX2000? most places don't seem to list much for the NX's...

I believe so. I am using a Gen5 HS header that was installed on a B14 200SX SE-R. Any header for the SR20DE engine should work fine.

I agree. Just remember some headers don't have the connection for the PAIR system. Some of use could give a rats arse though as these systems sometimes get misplaced. ;)

YES!

If you are having problems findng parts(or a header) for your NX, try ordering for a same year SE-R.

Just remember some headers don't have the connection for the PAIR system.
Those would be for the '94 and up SE-R's.

Some of use could give a rats arse though as these systems sometimes get misplaced.
The PAIR valve is there to inject air into the exhaust stream to help the catalytic converter light off during cold starts. Also to maintan catalytic operation during extended idle periods.

If you live in Cali, you'll need it in order to pass the visual portion of the smog test.

In Mass they don't really pay any attention to visual. They only care about what comes out the tail-pipe. And I have to say my car ran really clean even with out the pair.
