: Will a 98 Cobra MAF fit a 200sxser

I have seen in some of the ads that a couple of 200sx ser uses the cobra maf, Im just curious because I have a friend who has a cobra and is about to get a new MAF and Im thinking Im going to get his old one so if anybody has any tips that would be great.

I believe the corect MAF is a 93 Cobra. Do not try this unless you are going turbo.

You need a JWT ECU programmed to operate the Cobra MAF.

It is the 93 cobra only, you dont need it unless you are topping out your stock one, which peaks out around 220Whp. ANd a bored stock Maf peaks at 270(ask Mr.Miko). And if you do get the Cobra Maf, then you need the JWT ecu with the Maf subtractor program.

There have been several dyno tests and the most i have seen a N/A Ser make from an oversized Maf is like 2whp. Go to SeR.net and read the SCC project 200sx SeR articles, Kojima tried it and said it wasent worth the money.
