You can't use anything higher than a 55 watt bulb... you'll fry the wiring harness.

yup. fried mine about a year ago. I think the blues are played out anyways. but bright white is cool.

i recommend the sylvania silver star........i've got them in 9007, so i don't know if they'd work any diff. in other styles.

stock fogs are bright enough not to need changing. anyone agree?

I bought a heavy duty harness with relays that draws power directly from the battery. I pay around $40 for the harness. I am using 80/100W bulbs for 3 months with this harness, and it work great.

I don't think the stock fogs are bright at all. It is almost useless with the stock bulb. The stock fog light bulb is 15W (correct me if i am wrong). I changed it with 30W bulb and it is much better. But the the fog lights mounting screws are a PITA to get it out.

Stock driving light bulb is a 35 watt H3...use a 55 and they are much better, but you have to midify the metal on the bulb to work.it is cak eot do and very worth it.

if you are using projectors, maybe it's because you didn't do a good job of hooking up the wires... I used to have this problem sometimes, but then I made a custom connector so that I could just connect the headlamp socket to the projector socket and no more problems

i don't have projectors, they are stock.the thing that is strange is that i had the bulbs in for 4 mo. with no problem untill now.

I just changed the bulbs in my fogs to a 55w Eurolite crystal white. what a pain in the balls that was. why is it that nissan feels they have to make the mounting screws that long? I think I spend at least 15 minutes on each screw just to get it out. But then again if I had a straight socket instead of a wrench, I'd probably be done in quarter of the time. Then another pain in the arse, actually changing the bulb. you don't get much room to work with when disconnecting the wiring of the bulb and its a b!tch to align the bulb when you put the new one in. It seems easy enough, but when you're trying to get that sucker in there at an angle from which you can't see, it becomes a problem. all in all, a job that I thought would take me 15 minutes, took me almost 2 hours.
but heck, it was worth it. the lights look great and are definetly much.....much brighter.

If you're going to spend $50 on a pair of bulbs, you might as well go with the PIAAs. They are a bit more, but if you look around on ebay, you could find them at that price.

What screws are there to change the bulbs? I just unclipped the metal holder and untwisted the bulbs when I got mine. You aren't talking about a HID conversion kit are you?

ummm...yeah...they should pop out the back..I think the long screw you took out is the adjusting screw isnt it.? I remember it only took like 25-30 min tops..and that was trimming the metal tap to make em fit...
