Im guessing this is a motor mount issue, whenever i step on the gas and then completely let off of the gas, the car jerks back....now, if it is a motor mount issue, which mount does this sound like, and if not, then what else could it be?? Thanks in advance...John.

Front right motor mount. Near passenger wheel well.

Highly recommend to replace all 4 at the same time. If not, just by replacing the one, it will be taking all or most of the force and will go bad quickly. The others are prob' going bad too, but the right front is the one that takes most of the force.

You should getthe Energy Suspension motor mount inserts, all four will set you back like 50-60 bux. Will take a day to install all four, but well worth it. Much less jerking during throttle transitions, although there is a little bit more vibration in the interior, but it's hardly noticeable. I got mine in aobut a week ago and couldnt' be happier

Before I regrounded my MAF, the car was very jerky on and off throttle. Then I fixed it.

Then I got S4s, and now it's jerky again on and off throttle at low speeds, but it's not really a problem now :)

yah i regrounded the MAF too and that helped, but it's still there a bit. I'm going to clean the throttle body too, that may help, who knows?

Yeah, i have already regrounded my maf though, maybe its time to clean out the throttle body again, i did it over 20k ago, so maybe thats it. I noticed the jerking motion has been coming on gradually, so maybe the tb is clogged up...i hope its as easy a fix as taht. Wheni bought the car, the dealer had replaced one of the motor mounts, but they didnt specify which one.
