Guys, maybe someone knows this trouble...

My sr16ve Pulsar began to lose low rpm power from time mo time...

I start engine, idles are OK, I push throttle, revs getting high very slowly till 4000 rpm, then it goes as normally... Trying to go, I set 1st gear and try to go, its goes like deadman till 4000 rpm, than begin to speed up as normal...

Revs comes to idle from high OK, without any troubles and are stable...

Cams are switching OK...

I stop the car, turn engine off, start again and it works as normal, but sometimes I need 2 or more "reloads"...

It happens almost every day... "check engine" light doesnt flash...

Any ideas? :(

MAF? oxygen sensor? ECU? its so irritating :(

ps. some time ago there was another trouble - sometimes, afteê high revs, when I released trottle pedal, engine stalled... Troubles has cured itself... but now appeares another... maybe those are related fauls...

Could be your knock sensor,but do a diagnostic check! Link the 2 pins in the top right hand corner of the diagnostic socket and get the fault code from the dash.

if anyone interested, it was all about distributor rotor and a cap...

rotor began to break insides of the cap and there gathered a lot of junk.
sr20de cap + sr16ve rotor = ignition problems :rolleyes:

buy only original or replace with sr20de set cap+distributor.:biggthump
