What do I need to hook up a G20 manual ecu to my 96 200 se-r? Or will everything just fit in place? Well, I'm sure that can't be the case, it would be too easy!!! :D

I'm relatively new to the sr20 community. I've heard about this mod before. What is the advantage of the g20 ecu. Also does it matter if you get one from an earlier year model or auto/manual tranny? BTW, I have a 92 SE-R and I am in the process of putting in a JDM SR20DE.

The G20 ECU is an upgrade for B14 owners. It raises the redline to 7500 and takes the speedlimiter off. The '91-'93.5 G20 ECU is the same that is in your car. All that is needed to install it is a phillips screw driver, and a 10mm socket. I have pictures of when I installed my JWT ECU, I'll do a write up this weekend.

Right. If you have an automatic B14 you must have auto ECU. Although you can have an automatic ECU in a 5-speed B14.
