i recently purchased some agx's (f&r) from a forum member (sr larry )who said these were in good working order when taken off. turns out he was wrong. these make a clicking noise ( kinda like a axle going out) when i turn. i swaped them back with my gr2's and the noise went away. so then i swaped the agx's once again just to me sure it wasnt the installation and the noise came back. i was wondering if we can get them rebuilt or are they just paper weights
here is what he told me

i wanted to return them to get my money back ($250) but he said he didnt have the money. i did talk him into giving me 100 back though, even though i didnt want these, so i still got screwed

Same thing happened to me. $200 shipped for the four of them. After a few months I replaced the fronts and the rear are still OK I guess. My blown ones sat in a box for a long time and oddly enough I just threw them away this morning (last weekend was a massive garage cleanup).

I think the AGXs have a warranty on them. If they still have dampening when you push down and pull up then they are still good.
