just got my shinny new wastegate today with the 1 bar spring.
on my old hks actuator i can pull the actuator rod, however the valve in the wastegate is solid to try and move, this supposed to be so?

Mine is the same way and I have a 9lb spring. Its never given me a problem, so I'd say you're good to go.
