HAs anyone had any luck trying to spray a det?
I am more than likely putting a small 50 shot on my det for a upcoming race. I was just trying to figure out if anyone has tried a setup like this before, and what the results where.
How much nitrous will the DET hold?! 75? 100?
I am running 12psi boost, planning on installing a wet nitrous kit & supra TT fuel pump tonight.

I don't know much about Turbos but I do know a guy here in south Florida with a DETed Classic that ran a 11.90 in the 1/4. he was boosting 12psi and had a 75 shot. (not really sure on the shot but that is what I was told.)

You forgot to post that the car is fully gutted with no interior at all. Just a seat and a dash. The car is about 2100 pounds or less and the guy drives it on the street.

My ride is full weight! I am looking to break into the 11's with a 50shot hopefully if all goes well.
I ran a 12.75 @ 106.6 on 12psi with a slipping clutch, bad motor mounts and on race race tires. I replaced my clutch yesterday, motor mounts tonight, and installing the nos tommrow. I hope to have the clutch broke in and ready by sunday to hit the track!

you can run both on a det motor you just gotta be sure of your air/fuel and your egt's... i would not advise anyone to run more than a 75 shot on a stock det bottom end my bottom end fully built,and will only be running a 50 just for turbo lag!!!

Well I am shooting a 100 shot direct port. I havent hit the botton yet because there itsnt alot of info with Turbo with NOS. Does someone have more info on it. I have a built bottom end also.

Well guys I will let you know what it does tommrow. I just installed the supra TT fuel pump. I am working on putting the nitrous kit on now, rain or shine she is gettin sprayed tommrow!

why would I know???? I don't see a problem with it though, just don't go over what the injectors can do!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
