I am planning on running a bb-det with a t-28, 50lbs injectors, 300zx-tt fuel pump and maf. Anyway my question is about the turbo will a s-15 ball-bearing t-28 fit on a gti-r manifold or bb manifold? Where could i get one? Also with the proper exhaust and a set of cams how much horsepower would this be good for? Inputs would be greatly appreciated.:D

I am 90% sure about this: It will fit on a gti-r manifold but NOT on a bb manifold, so get yourself a gti-r manifold if you have that turbo.

To get a GTi-R Turbo Manifold, you can get it from nismoparts.com Click here for direct link (http://nismoparts.safeshopper.com/435/cat435.htm?482) . But you can also probably get it from Andreas or Mossy Nissan or Courtesy Nissan or on the For Sale forum.

Note: The S13 T-28 Ballbearing is better for faster spoolup but has less HP potential...just food for thought...

The S13 uses a journal bearing T-25. The S14 and S15 use ball bearing T-28's (of nearly identical specification).

I've been told that the T28 will go on the BB manifold if you file a little bit off the engine block... sounds a bit dodgey though :)

I'm also curious what turbo's I can fit on the BB manifold. I want to go a T28 for the nice smooth boost delivery, etc. S14 or S15 T28? Hrmmmm. unsure.

Thanks,
James

Opps, I ment S14...am I right though? S14s have faster spoolup but GTiR turbo has more HP potential?

You can use a GTiR manifold and use HKS turbos on there...they use the same flange, and I've herd that the exhuast downpipes line up with the J-pipe...
