I've been looking a buying one of these kits, and they both are pretty expensive so research is a must. I got a little info on the Fmax stage I kit and it sounds like 300+hp for about $4000. I 've also seen the Hotshots Kit going for $2700 on a group buy also promising 300+hp. The hp # sound real but I'm wondering about the prices. Also I haven't seen anyone with a hotshots kit on there car. I'm the only SE-R racing in Germany (that i know of) so I must rule the hondas:D

The only difference between Fmax Stage I and II is the inlet pipe into the compressor (which costs NO MORE when ordering), 50lb injectors instead of 370cc(which require aftermarket fuel rail), Cobra MAF, and upgraded fuel pump. Remember, it doesn't matter what turbo kit you run you are limited to 250hp with 370cc injectors, stock MAF, and stock fuel pump. (The exception to this would be Andreas Miko's magic tuning secrets...)

What you can do is order the stage II kit (because you want the bigger inlet pipe 3"), without the 370cc injectors, JWT fuel rail, Cobra MAF and fuel pump so you source them yourself and save $$$ like I did.

For example from www.ftfmotorsports.com (http://www.ftfmotorsports.com):

MSD 50lb Injectors: $75 X 4 (very good price)
Fuel Rail: $125 (get the connectors for $20 also)
Cobra MAF reman from Discount Auto $150-180 (TOTAL without core!)

Side note:
I think as cheap as the fuel pump upgrade is, ($125-130) EVERY turbo SR powered car should have one no matter the power level. It's cheap insurance and piece of mind. Of course you don't have to run the Cobra MAF, as you can run the Z32 MAF also. Same goes with the injectors...NISMO or whatever brand you like.
