Sorry for this noob post but iv searched for hours on here trying to find a good turbo to use.
I guess im not looking in the right price range, I was looking around the $600 range but im starting to think i want find one.
i was wanting about 320/350whp
if any one can help me il give them a cookie :rofl:

no $600 is just for the turbo its self i have 4k for the rest of the stuff, sorry for not saying that before
this will be going on a sr20ve with a DE crank and a GTIR P/R combo
iv been thinking what do you guys think of the gt2530

i dont know alot about VEs, but i would have thought that a GT2530 would be to small for a VE application. mite wanna look in the GT28 series or even up to the GT30 series.
the disco potato seems to be a favourite over there. easy enough to come by and well priced. should pump enough air for a VE.

go with a DP (Disco Potato) or a GT28. No problems reaching what your desire is with these. A GT30 would be more than enough, IMO.
You'll be lucky to see 300whp on a T25, period.

go with a DP (Disco Potato) or a GT28. No problems reaching what your desire is with these. A GT30 would be more than enough, IMO.
You'll be lucky to see 300whp on a T25, period.
well i did not want to spend over 1k on a turbo but if i do il just save for a bit longer and go for 450whp.
but i liked the GT2530 because it was rated a 320hp, and it will bolt up to a SSAUTO manifold, and i figerd it would spool real fast on the ve, and with suporting mods make around 320/350whp <<<i way be wrong on that ***.
edit. the gt2530 is in the gt28 family.

Get the GT2860RS (Disco Potato) or if you want to live with slightly faster spool with affordability you can get a new BB S15 GT28 from Nissan for $750 or so. They will do a hair over 300whp at 18 lbs.
how much boost can you run to the s15 t28
