in the last month, my car has started making this weird noise all the time under suspension compression and engine load....... when i first got the car last year and took it to autox, in really hard transitions, the car would make the same noises, but only when i was really pushing it..... now, it makes it all the time, especially under suspension compression.... at first i thought it was a bad motor mount, but when i put in the ES inserts, i checked, and the sound is coming from somewhere on the passenger side lower control arm. all i could think is that maybe a bushing is deteriorated and now i have metal on metal contact... this is the same control arm that contacted a curb pretty hard a few months ago in an accident avoidance manuver, could that have anything to do with it? it makes my car sound like a POS, I really want to fix this....

Make sure the 24mm bolt on the control arm is tight or it will make a creaking noise.
