...

Different sensors, injectors, MAF, motor being forcefed, etc. would lead me to say no.

i think it will start it, but it would be in limp mode for sure. So more or less pointless

It may or may not start. I haven't had a lot of experience with a different motor/ecu combination, so I couldn't give you a definite answer. IMO, it wouldn't start, but I can and will accept the fact that I could be wrong.

hey man, if you sent the ecu out when you first got the motor you would have gotten it back by now so it would be runnable with the gti-r. you should still call some junkyards and find a sr20de and throw the turbo parts from the gti-r over

Yes, it will start on an SR20DE ECU. Run a tad rich and will splutter if you try to boost it but it will idle.

it will start... but atleast change out some sensors with your original motor... coolant temp, O2, TPS, and maf at the least...

if you change these it should be drivable but pig rich because you are using 444cc injectors and yoru ecu is running off of the stockers wich is i think 259cc or so.. so it will give the injectors the same signal which will be more fuel than needed...

The DE ECU needs the DE AFM and DE temp sensor with the 444cc injectors and it will run. It will be driveable but run really rich on boost.
