: idle and wot fuel pressure for 4 bar ??

The FSM states the fuel pressure for idle is 34-36 psi. I read somewhere in the se-r list archives that the fuel pressure at WOT differs about 15%. I am doing my turbo install in parts. I installed 50lb msd injectors, cobra maf, fuel pressure guage and nismo fuel pressure regulator this weekend ( along with ripping out the egr, bpt, evap canister :D )

My question is since I have chosen the 4 bar program from JWT should I adjust the fuel pressure at idle to ~50 psi when I finally install the turbo assuming the 15% difference at WOT to make it 4 bar ?

Just confused, about some of the magic that the ECU does for me... :p

Thanks for any explanations and help.

Here is what you need to do. Raise the Fuel Presure up to 52 PSI at idle with vacum hose still on the fuel regulator. Then pull the vacum hose off and see what the fuel presure is. What you need to do is to get the fuel presure to read 59 psi with the vacum hose off. When you pull the vacum hose off you are simulating WOT. 1 bar is 14.7 PSI, 2 bar is 29.4 PSI, 3 bar is 44.1 PSI and 4 bar is 58.8 PSI. I will also give you an example for a stock NA SR20DE car that runs at 3 bar which is 44.1 PSI at WOT. We know that a SR20DE NA idles at about 36-38 PSI but at WOT the car reads 44.1 PSI. Thats all you need to do and you are on your way. Have fun and drive safely.
