i read on the instructions that u need 92+ octane

does jwt have it set for phoenix 91 octane??

I would check the sticker on the JWT ECU. Some JWT ECU's I have seen programmed for 91 Octane, so I would check it first, but you should call JWT just to be sure.

Thanks!

Well the cost mainly goes into the ECU. You are pretty much getting two ECU's in one, so they charge $550 - $595 for the main ECU to be programmed, and then $450 - $495 for the second ECU to be programmed. (I forgot the pricing.) Then you have all new nitrous parts to go along with it to make a complete kit. If you have the JWT ECU already, you can always send it in to get the daughterboard installed. The great thing about it is that you can always get the daughterboard reprogrammed for anything in the future, for lets say, a water injection kit for the same $100 you normally would spend to get a regular JWT ECU reprogrammed. Then there is always the option of running two, three, or even four daughterboards for various objectives.

Thanks!

I see what you're saying. When i talked to them I want to say they quoted me about 850 or so for the ecu, which when you think about it really isnt that bad. But then again, couldnt i just buy a used ecu thats programmed for whatever and just call up JWT and get them to send me the daughterboard? Or does it not work like that w/ the nitrous setup?? The reason i say this is because im not sure if its the actual setup that comes with all the switches and such, or does the ecu get shipped with the arming switch?

They probably will not send you the daughterboard, but you can send them the ECU, and have everything setup, including the wiring. When they install the daughterboard, they will run the wiring that comes out of the ECU, which includes the arming switch and T connector, and they will also provide the relay and other connectors you need to get everything running. When you are ready to send in your JWT ECU for the daughterboard upgrade, then give them a call or email them letting them know what exactly you want to do with the programs, and they will respond with the best options.

Thanks!
