I've been researching nitrous for a while and have found numerous types of setups and I was wondering about the JWT setup. I talked to them yesterday and asked about the general details for their 100 shot system, and it seemed pretty much straight forward. But has anyone used it before? It kinda annoys me that the nitrous doesn't come on until about 3800, but i can understand why they do this. My other choice would be to go with a progressive setup from NX, but I really dont have the time to mess with tuning it and yada yada. So any input on this?? Thanks guys.

Oh, and I do have experience with sr's seeing as ive had a turbo b13 already, so dont think im a newb to all this:rofl:

I ran a JWT 100 shot set up for over 3 years. I will say it is flat out amazing. The car ran like a top NA then all hell broke lose on the guns. As for the 3800 RPM activation I think that is perfect. Why spray the car any lower? I also like the fact that they cut the bootle off at about 7800 rpm so if you mis-shift the car in NA not juiced.

I for one am a big fan of this. I pretty much had a stock motor with all bolts ons + S4 cams. Very quick car.

It's by far the safest choice you have.

When I was running this set up on my 200sx, I put down 101 at the wheels on the juice!!!!!!! 151hp 134 tq NA, 252 hp 257tq on JWT 100shot!!!!!!! I don't think anyone else can make a claim like that for their systems, especially with a dry shot!!!! That was with S3 cams, pullies, gen3 HS, test pipe, Greddy, PR CAI.....

I would recomend this set up to anyone who is interested.

I want to buy your kit.... but cant at the moment...

So are you guys talking about the full kit or just using jwt for the ecu?

the jwt ecu with nos module....

does it have wiring for the nos selenoid's?? or for a bottle opener?

do u need anything extra besides the ecu and a dry nos kit or do u need extra stuff??

You need different injectors as well.

Yes, they said you need 370cc injectors, which really isnt a surprise. But they said everything was included in the kit that was needed to basically plug and play. Get the ecu, get the Kit, start spraying that evening :) The price was kinda hefty, $1600 was what i was quoted, but thats everything brand new and outa the box. Thanks for the input guys, Im still doing research and such so we'll see what happens.

If you're just starting out with nitrous and want to run alot, get it. As I said before it's the safest setup you can use, IF you don't want to go over a 100 shot hehe. Only drawback is the price. The NX kit on my car retails for somewhere around $750 I think.

Can you run a different kit with a JWT ecu? Or do I need the jwt nitrous kit to match it? I would imagine I could get whatever kit I wanted and just wire everything in, but Im not sure. Maybe not?

You need to use their kit. It's an NOS dry direct port kit.

why wouldnt you be able to use someone elses dry kit?

First off, I've never seen another company sell a DRY direct port kit, secondly I think they may have made some changes to it, so that it's more plug and play with the ECU. I'm not sure about that since I've never owned one though.

well mine just has a switch to change maps, and either one or two wires coming off a relay and thats it...

i just assume you connect one of those wires to the 'on' switch with the wiring that comes with the nitrous kit itself...

as for being direct port or not, can an ecu be programmed nay different for either?

You'd need to talk with JWT about that. They do the direct port for safety.

The JWT system is a direct port? I thought it was just a wet kit...Well shit, im too lazy to drill and tap the intake manifold :) I guess thats a good thing though, direct port is the best setup as it is...anyway, we'll see what happens. I first gotta get another sr car!

Nope the jwt kit uses a dry direct port kit. The bigger injectors are what puts the fuel in.
