I just finished my DET swap and i was woundering what kind of times i can expect. My boost is stock 7psi. Ive already beaten two integra type R's and a MKIII supra with intake, exhaust and boost controller with two other people in my car. This tell's me that im some where in the high 13's. Any one else have any times???? thanks

what kind of turbo do you have because with 7 psi on a t25 I wouldnt think you would be in the high 13's but maybe you could touch a 13 though.

my guess would be low to mid 14's because the G is a little heavier car than the classics and 200sx's. Stock DET classics and 200s are ususally high 13s, low 14's on street tires.

Depends how you can drive! Launching a turbo car is totally different than a N/A car.

The turbo is a t25 but the motor also has some extreme cams. Im not sure really what kind they are because they came with the DET engine. This motor pull a shit load harder then when i had the t25 on the US motor. No first or second gear traction on street tires. Are 12's posible with slicks, 14 psi and race gas?

I dont think so a low 13 would be, there are some people that have run 12's with a t25 but you would need to have all the supporting mods and probably boosting more than 14 psi

High 12's are possible with a t-25 and some s3's, slicks, mm's and a clutch....and more boost.

I had a lot of trouble the past week trying to launch my friends VW 1.8t (with a chip and filter), at the track.
I would hold it at 3k rpm, and the car would bog when i drop the clutch.
We had the front tires pressure down to 24psi.
I launched in that same manner twice, and both times bogged.
Any tips on how to launch his car next time at the track??

By the way, launching the same way on the street just spins 1st & 2nd.

These cams, which ever they may be, are deffinetly bigger then s3's. The idle is so freakin lumpy. My friend has the most extreme Jun cams in his 200sx and our idles sound very similar. When i did the swap i threw in an ACT. All i really need is slicks and a prayer. "please god, make my four door family car run 12's":D

I did a 13.7 in my stock DET powered N14 Pulsar SSS. Stock boost (7psi) and r-compound semi slick tyres.
