Well after many arguments and a lot of other crap with my wife I finally decided to get a Spec-V. She is happy and we no longer own a Honda so I am happy. Owe and did I mention we own 2 SE-R's?
I got it fully loaded with every option. Showroom model, even has the cool gunmetal trim on the dash. The Rockford Fosgate system is a major +:D :D , No aftermarket subs in my future. The 6 disc CD changer is also cool.
The car handles really well, I think Nissan did a good job comprimising between aggressive handling and daily comfort.
The seats are a piece of art. The instrument controls are very easily reachable and are placed in neat fashion.
All in all it serves my purpose, Sporty, good performer, and room for my family to grow.
All this for a little over $20,000.00 I am happy!
I still like my white car better
:)

My man!!!!!
Im happy for ya dawg!!!
My wife offered to trade the RED BEAST in for a new Spec-V.
I thought about it and got all happy. But then I decided to wait. I dont want to lose my classic!!!! Im glad you have both!!!!!
Darren I'd say you are right on target with the color!! That is silky smooth. I have not seen one in that color before. Very nice!!
Do you have a B&M SS in your Classic? If you do would you mind seeing if you spec-v shift knob will work on it?
Thanks man,
P.S. I'm going to VMP on Friday June 7th. Wanna come with me? 1/4 mile and meeting up with other members there.

In my expirience Offering a women a new car, almost always works. I think my women would have been cool with any car as long as it was sporty. The Spec-V just fit the gap soo well.

I have a Pace Setter SS and love it. I JB Welded my knob to my shifter. To be honest with yeah I would love to help yeah but it would be a Pain In the A$$ to remove both and swap them around.

Well funny you mentioned that, I am going to be in Danville Va. for a Auto-X school. I got to be there Fri. night for a classroom session @ 7pm. Sat. will be track session and Sun. will be the Auto-X. Would be cool to hang out some over the weekend though.

Very nice Pete I am jealous as I own neither and would love to own both. I'm working on getting a classic yet this summer and the only other SE-R I'd want to own is a new one.

What! TOOL you don't want a 200sx? :D Thats phat every time I see a new se-r I want one. Except for the four door thing. Kind of unsporty, although 4 doors is much easier. And when you have the engine to keep all of the nay-sayer's at bay, you can have them!
