If some of you dont already know Im still new to the SE-R world. I had a Honda for many years. Everyone probably knows there is a huge market for JDM parts for the Honda is there a big JDM market for the B13? Is there cars similar to the American Sentra SE-R in Japan that you can interchange parts with other than just the engine? I was thinking about it today and I havent seen much in the forums about this other than the JDM engines.

Most Sunny's (B13 in Japan) are 1.8 liter SR18DE's.
None of them are performance-oriented. Lucino is the B14.
I owned a B14 200SX SE-R when I went to Japan back in 95, and only when I went to Japan did I realize that it was more of a grocery getter in Japan.
If you go to Japan it will open your eyes. Silvias rule. Hondas are the underdogs. 300ZXs (Fairladys) are for "different" people.
So, in short, no, there is no JDM equivalent (shy of the Primera GT which is a different chassis).
There are some people here interested in the B13 Sunny front bumper which, for better or worse, is different.

Yeah but the stuff made here in the US is top notch sh&t. JimWolf Cams, hotshot header, UO pullies.
I guess its neat to say, "these were pulled off another model," but thats about it. Anyway JDM stuff is the same if not more $$$ than newly produced US stuff.
If it makes you feel any better, you can adapt all the SR20DET stuff to a SR20DE to have basically a JDM turbo kit.
And do what I did, I got my brother to buy me as much Nismo-branded stuff while he was in Japan (although I have no Nismo anything, whatsoever!).
My shift knob, oil filler cap, radiator cap, and key are all JDM!!!!
The top sporty-trim B13 Sunny GT-S had a healthy pricetag on it, so they aren't that common. They were sold back in the day of the S13 Silvia, which was a runaway home market success at introduction. It wasn't a hard choice for the enthusiast dollar to get the RWD coupe over the four-door-only front-driver (no two-door Sunnys).

I think that is what I plan on doing is adapting all the turbo stuff to mine. Like I said Im still new to the SE-R somewhat I have only had mine for about 2 months. But like I said I had a Honda for along time.

I think he means aftermarket for JDM stuff.. like the Integra in Japan has a different front , etc...
The only JDM we can do is get the engines that perfrom better.. or there are body its for the 200 that makes it look like a Skyline front, which are JDM.

That is exactly what I mean a big aftermarket for JDM stuff like parts that might come off another Nissan car that is in Japan that will fit the american SE-R.
