I'm trying to put together a 300hp setup. Is it possible to attain that hp goal with a t28? If so, what type of ts8 whould you recommend. Would it be possible with a .64a/r turbine, .69 a/r compressor, a 62 trim turbine wheel, and a 60 trim compressor wheel? Suggestions pease.

Several people with GTi-R T28s have done it, but it's not easy or terribly reliable. The Disco Potato T28 would do it handily, but that's not on the market yet. Has anyone seen what the S15's T28 is capable of reliably? Just wondering.

Does anyone have the specs on this turbo?

The manifold is from a pulsar GTI-R, the turbo is a custom one that Rob Cadle made for us. It is a 62 trim T-3 in a TO4B .60 a/r compressor housing with a 76 trim NS111 turbine in an .86 A/R exhaust housing. The turbine is sold as the GT28 turbine by HKS amoung others. It flows about as much as a big T-3 wheel! The turbo also has a Silvia ball bearing center section and an internal wastegate. It flows enough for about 320 hp and has almost no lag! Feel like a Jackson supercharger or something with way more power. Right now we are only running 14 psi.

i did it, made 324whp and 328tq. with the gti-r manifold and t28 that came with my gti-r motor

Wow!! What did you do your engine? And what boost were you running?

Screw that, I wanna' know how much time you spent trimming fuel and spark curves in your custom engine management system on a chassis dyno. :D

there was nothing done to the engine at all, it was completely stock. just had electromotive tech 2 instead of a ecu
