All manual '93 G20s had the RS5F32A open-diff tranny.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that will require '98-'99 Sentra SE axles? It should be somewhere in the archives for the searching.

I was pretty sure that 93's came w/ LSD. Either way, you have to use se-r/nx2000 with an se-r/nx2000 and g20 w/ g20. The trans are the same, it's the hubs that are different.

Everything I read says only the '94-'96 G20t had factory VLSD, and I can't find anything to the contrary. At any rate, looking for the VLSD bulge on the case will solve that pretty quickly.

I'm betting you need 1998 SE-R / '98-'99 Sentra SE axles.

all g20t's (the touring edition) came with the lsd, the regular g20's do not.

according to dacypher2003, i'm going to need 95 nx2k axles on both sides, so i'm going to go with that for the time being and see how it works out.

thanks all

and those will fit right with the hubs on my car? no issues with seals lining up or any of that? i'm assuming that i can't be the first person to do this before. hey, maybe i'll just try and buy an se-r tranny. the lsd would be nice.

The driver's side axle for a RS5F32A is completely different from a VLSD RS5F32V, whether you're talking B13/B14 or P10. A VLSD axle shaft is shorter, and the inner CV is longer. A '95-'97 200SX SE-R driver's axle will not fit your RS5F32A as used in this application.

You need a '98 SE-R/'98-'99 Sentra SE (non-LSD, RS5F32A) driver's side axle, at minimum.

The passenger side axle may not matter, as long as it's from a SR20DE B13/B14. I reused my RS5F32A passenger axle when swapping a '93 SE-R RS5F32V into my '93.5 G20. Maybe someone could confirm/deny the same holds true on a B13/B14.

I think you are right Jim... Would need a non-lsd axle from the 98/99 sentra/200sx w/ sr20.

what do RS5F32A and RS5F32V mean? are those transmission codes? all i know is that my car does NOT have any sort of LSD. would i be better off trying to get an se-r transmission? i know that're sort of hard to come by but if i'm not even gonna be able to find driveshafts i might have to.
