: o2 induction manifold???
ShawnSE-R 06-04-2002, 03:55 AM I have read all the post I can find and still have some questions. How much boost is considered low boost from the dyno results posted on the site? and Who has one and how much more power did you make, faster 1/4 time differences ect..? Just trying to do some research for my next project.
NX$paniard 06-04-2002, 08:20 AM buy 1 they are bad- a$$$$!!!!
Jackson Diamond 06-04-2002, 09:27 AM I have the prototype for the low port head. We will be dyno testing it in the next month, if you want info on them go to www.O2induction.com . I have ridden in Rob's (BigBoost)car with the stage two high port on it. THe car spooled up alot faster and made more top end hp. I sure he will answer any more questions. If you want pics of the low port manifold feel free to email me.
se-riously boosted 06-04-2002, 11:14 AM I have a high port one. If u wanna check it out u can drive to 75th ave and Indian school. We hope to dyno soon!.
Big Boost 06-04-2002, 02:36 PM The low boost setting was set at 15psi. It made 49.2WHP over stock. I have dyno charts and print outs of the dyno runs. I can fax them if you would like to see them. PM me if you have more questions. Thanks.
Rob
se-riously boosted 06-04-2002, 04:28 PM Rob I need your #. I lost it. Let's do some business!:D
CowboyDren 06-04-2002, 04:34 PM What car/setup, again, was the test subject from which these dyno results were pulled?
Big Boost 06-04-2002, 06:27 PM The test car was my personal 1991 SE-R, high port stock JDM 9.5:1 SR20DE with an Andreas Miko GTI-R manifold, Stage II T04E/T3 turbo, 3 bar JWT ECU with MSD 50lb injectors, and a 3" downpipe/exhaust.
ShawnSE-R 06-04-2002, 09:02 PM I thought 271hp sounded kinda high on low boost levels for a highport head. None the less, a 50hp gain is a 50hp gain. For someone that already has cams, this looks the greatest way to make an additional 50hp. Cant wait to be able to get one. Please post any future results. I dyno'd 306hp on 15lbs. I have a highport motor to swap in so thats no biggie. I just want to run an 11.60-11.90 without a bottom end.
FastNX 06-05-2002, 10:39 PM any ideas how the stage 1 would work on a NA motor?
Dswtflip4u 06-06-2002, 03:56 PM Now that we have this conversation, I just want to ask you guys about what will happen to the coolant lines and sensors? I am seriously considering this for my turbo application. STAGE 1 that is.

I'm sure Rob will chime in but he is supposed to be working on a manifold based on a US Spec intake (from me) which utilizes all of the emissions stuff and sensors.

FastNX 06-07-2002, 06:27 PM what does the current manifold not include that stock has?

Definitely all of the emissions stuff like EGR, BPT, etc. I'm not sure about all the misc. brackets that hold things.
Steve
Dswtflip4u 06-09-2002, 12:43 PM I don't know why nissan even put those brackets on there. It's a pain to do work with them in there. I am sure anyone who tried to replace a starter could relate to this. But anyways I hope to get me one sometime.

NX$paniard 06-09-2002, 01:26 PM well i am pretty sure you just shit can all those things, although the manifold (Rob's) does come with several attachments for vacuum lines, the colant lines are no longer used in the plenum so u would definitely shit can those...all that other emissions crap probly goes away... i guess... im on the same boat i have my stage 1 sittin here and after installing a turbo ready sr20 this weekend i saw alot of things that go away with the 02i manifold..... maybe rob can make an "installation of the O2 Induction manifold for dummies" set of instructions... *** other than that ill just be shooting from the hip...not that theres anything wrong with that:D but theink of the weight savings youll be yanking off all those lines and that mess they call the oem intake manifold (lower and upper).:D
civicdragon 06-11-2002, 12:57 AM How much would this benifit a GTIR owner? Considering it all ready has nice intake induction?
CowboyDren 06-11-2002, 01:12 AM The GTi-R has quad throttle bodies; you can order an O2 manifold with quads. The GTi-R has large-bore intake runners; I'm not sure how big they are compared to a Bluebird manifold, though. The O2 manifold also has what should be a less-awkward TB location, depending on what platform you're talking about, I suppose.
