Almost all the import magazines put honda as the king of horsepower per litre, but I beg to differ. According to my calculations:

b16,civic type R-121hp/per litre
b18,integra type R-108hp/per litre
k20,rsx type R(integra type R)-110hp/per litre

But the new king of hp per litre:
SR16VE with a untouchable rating of
125hp/per litre!!!
I might have to post this on a Honda forum, he..he..he!

uuummm......S2000??? THat would help Honda a little. DIdnt see the per liter figures there and I think that takes the cake...but I am not for sure.

S2000 is 240hp out of 2L so that would be 120hp per liter. Nissan reigns!

Guess you are right....and doesnt the 2.0 VE have a flat torque curve or something...so I guess it PISSES all over the s2000...that makes me laugh when I see how we can throw a VE in our classics and woop a 30 grand + Honda. Sooooo so sad...RWD is still a nice thing though....and no classic has that.

To be totally correct it is the SR16VE N1. The regular sr16ve is 175hp. The N1 was a special item with less then 500 total units IIRC.

so I think that would leave honda as the winner...I dont think limited production qualifies.
