OK, I was ready to buy the Fidanza Lightweight flywheel, but someone told me that it isn't compatible with the crank position sensor that goes into the tranny . I know the older SE-R's didn't have this but the newer ones do and so does mine. What will be the disadvantages of running this flywheel if it doesn't aknowledge the cps. Let me know your input and if there is any way to fix it. Thanks

You will get an MIL light. Also, a batch of ClutchMaster and JWT flywheels were made without this sensor. Now I hear they are redesigning them and out of stock.

Will the MIL light affect anything or is it just telling me there is a problem, but nothing will be affected performance wise?

The light will come on, but it does not affect the way the car runs. The only problem you will have is that you will get tired of seeing the dam thing on and when something goes wrong you will not notice it because the light wll be already on.

I have the thing on for a long time. I even squeezed 100shot on the car the first day I put the flywheel and no problem.

Because Im currently having a 1991 G20 flywheel that I found for cheap lightenent in the hopes of installing it in my car...
