I need to replace a coolant hose in the engine bay (the one that goes to or from the heater core from the area of the thermostat).

Has anybody done this, and did you buy one from a dealer or did you buy hose from an autoparts store and make your own?

you can use a hydraulic hose, much better than stock and cheaper...
