Ray and I have an M35 via Hertz. Joe and Cody have an A6.

You should know the answer to the second question... we'll be TORMENTING it on the track

Dude, if you could possibly get an 18 year old a car, that would be much appreciated.

that will never happen. with hertz you have to be atleast 21 for a business or leisure rental. They will charge you an extra $27 a day if you are 21-24 yrs old, it's an underage differential charge. 25+ and you are ok though.

If my luck with my classic continues as the way it has, I'll be back out there in a neon.

Again.

Anyone wanna help me take all the seats out this time again? Maybe I'll unbolt the exhaust as well - you know how much I need that bottom-end tq ;).

If someone lends tools, I'll help. Ray and I did it with the Gran Prix in LA several years ago and the weight reduction and unbolted exhaust seemed to offset each other. The exhaust seemed to make the car slower. It was still louder (and therefore cooler :) but still slower. That was the car that took 18.7 gallons at the pump and the manual said the fuel capacity was 17.1 :eek2:

You should go on neon.org and buy a used rear sway bar for it too. :) Believe it or not I thought about doing this, as well as, digging my old Neon wheels/tires out of storage. 205's on 15's... they be perfect. :biggthump

Too bad my work schedule doesn't allow me to go this year. :(

"Thinking"... No you're GOING... My family is all spread out in Wisconsin and there is NO excuse why you can't make something in your own back yard...

I was actually thinking of unbolting the front sway bar from whatever rental I get to help the damned thing rotate and get rid of the product liability-ness of the vehicle... :D

Either way, you can bet that the thing will be sporting about 4 rolls of blue painters - ahem - sponsor tape... :D

Hmm, I'll take a peak at the Hertz website and see what they have. I'm already signed up for a Charger from Dollar, I think it's ~$80 for 3 days.
