Hi guys,

Does anyone have the wiring looms for the BB U12 or U13?
I've just brought a U13 BB halfcut, why is everyone putting U12 engines in their cars?.... The U13 is better setup it has a front mount intercooler and a larger T28 turbo as standard.

Just Curious,

People have U12 engines because U12 engines are easier to get. I'm also a bit suprised at the lack of U13s around, but recognize the money constraints. :) I'm more suprised at the number of Avenir engines compared to U13s; you'd think that the U13 engine would be cheaper than those! I question your T28 claim, though; why would a Bluebird have a T28 while the Avenir has no fewer than two generations of T25s?

I'm dead set certain that the U13 bluebird comes with front mount intercooler and T28 turbo as standard it came as a series 2 engine to the U12 and those were the two changes they made to it.
I have the half cut sitting in my garage

21CCY you are correct about the U13 being front mounted IC but you are wrong about it having a T-28, it comes with a T-25.

Thats OK, I don't want state anymore claims maybe the previous owner from japan fitted it aftermarket, or maybe because it's a Japanese spec Bluebird SSS 4WD Attessa.

http://www.autospeed.com/A_0140/P_2/article.html

it's says it run's the same turbo as the 200sx in australia which has a T28 as standard.

But if it doesn't thats fine because mine does :D

The article is sort of right. When the Bluebird SSS ATTESA was first being built, the S13 still had a journal bearing T25.
