this is a one off so unfortunately youll miss out.

will be working on the next version of the LCD display (and the ecutalk software) next (once uni is finished...less than a month now!)

Sweet. Definitely count me on your next version of the LCD.
Will be waiting for it anxiously.

I cannot get mine to find a com port, even after downloading the virtual driver and going through the new hardware shit. I am using a Serial to USB converter.

The driver wizard will not locate the virtual driver that says it was successfully installed. I can't even get the download to put a program file on the computer... This shit sucks...

Give me some help!!

Erich

what brand/type of converter is it? sounds like you got a assy one

is any port listed under ports section of device manager?

Nope... It "finds new hardware" and then I downloaded the driver you gave the link for and it says installed... then I use the find hardware to Browse the file and it doesn't work...

NO ports are listed whatsoever...

What kind of converter do you recommend I get then? I paid 35 bucks for this damn thing...

the driver on that readme page is only if u get the usb/serial converter from me - if you got it from elsewhere, you need to use whatever driver they gave you (theyre not all the same)

what brand/model is it, where did u get it?

I got it from BestBuy... There are no drivers with it...
