I have noticed more SeR's for sale in the last month than ever. WHY???

All right, if there's a fire sale going on, I'm looking for another Classic as a daily beater.

Requirements:

- Cost around $1000, give or take a few notes.
- Five working forward gears (can deduct for 5th gear popout)
- No flakey electronics
- Working or easily fixable A/C
- Good clutch
- Crummy paint or no radio okay
- 200 miles or less from NW Arkansas (zip 72701)

NX2000s, 200SX SE-Rs, and G20s are fine. I don't know why any sane person would sell one, but I'll listening.

I'll second, or actually third that. :) However my req's are a bit different:

- Classic SE-R's only need apply (Sorry I'm a b13 man)
- Has to be bought for $1000-$1500
- Body has to be straight and paint good, no dings
- Mileage is not a factor (will be doing swap)
- Good tranny a must
- Fewer mods the better (If anyone's gonna screw this car up it's going to be me, that way I know who to blame ;))
- sunroof a plus

What I think JD was specifically talking about was the turbo SE-R's. James Farrer is thinking of selling his 9 second SE-R. I know of a few others who are thinking of selling their SE-R's too. I may join the list myself! If so, I'll list all of my parts on this site and ebay.

While the sale is going on - I'll take any running classic for $500 or less that's close to NY!

I got my Classic for $1200 :D It only needed a clutch. I put a JWT PP+2000 SE clutch for $225. The paint is ok. I gave it a tune up for 161 in parts. Total cost $1586. Driving a Classic: Priceless :D

jamie who?....And if you happen to run across a classic in the NC area for 1000 or less just let me know:

-Very little body damage
-Blown or no engine
-good tranny a plus :)
-crappy paint
-crappy interior
basically all i am looking for is a solid body and can roll....let me know if you see anything,
