I just want to tell you that this is a very broad question... I can answer it for you if you give me specifics of what you're asking for... This question in a sense is like comparing Silicone breasts to natural breasts... Off the bat though, I would say the TO4E is the way to go... (Thats the natural breast) :D

T3 refers to the turbine side

The compressor side you'll want is a T04E. The other option is a T04B, which is a turd. These are often broadly just referred to as 'T4' which isn't very specific. T4 is just a family of turbos. There are many many possible combinations of wheels and housings that fall under this family. what kind of goals do you have for the car?

sorry bout that... i may have a turbo car, but i'm a total NEWBIE when it comes to it... currently i have the t3/to4e turbo, but i have the chance to get the t3/t4 ballbearing turbo for a very good price... i don't know any of the trims or anything, but i was wondering if i should get it or not...

Rule number one, always know exactly what you're buying (meaning get the specs for it) Rule # 2, if it sounds too good to be true, then 99.9% of the time it is (a good price)... Rule #3 Ball bearing turbos spool up quicker #4 you get what you pay for.. Please get us the specs and we'll help you out, dont want you to end up with something you're going to regret...
