Hello People. I'm taking off my power steering off of my DET before installing it and can't find the belt from nissan to eliminate it. Does anyone have the part # of the belt I need?? If it doesn't exist, can I use an idler pulley from another car??

Thanks

Dave

Is there a belt that can be wedged in there?

The way I did it was by using the kit that Andreas sells which is a sylvia alternator, bolt and bracket which u relocate where the p/s used to go.

What I've decided to do is run the power steering pump with a hose ricirculating oil into the pump to prevent seizing the bearing in the pulley. I realized after the fact that no adjustment is possible, the adjustment lies in the P/S.

Oh well!! Not as much weight reduction as I wanted, but less clutter in the engine compartment without the resevoir and all the hoses!
