When you installed your shocks could you hear fluid sloshing around if you turned them upside down. I know its a weird question but I don't think there should be any noise if the oil level is correct.
Thanks,
Tim
i cant say that i recal hearing that with mine ?

That's not normal. Have they been modified to fit Coil overs ???

The first set was modified for GC's. I had one in the rear that sounded like the oil was low. I just recieved a replacement and it sounds the same. The other 3 didn't have any noise. What is up?

I would contact the vendor that you purchased them from and ask them. The only other time that I have heard of this is when they are not modified correctly. Is there any sign of fluid leaking out of them at all ???

There is a little crud on the first one from being used for a month. Can't really tell if its oil or not. Ground Control is about useless. Probably the rudest people I have ever delt with on the phone. I just sent the new one back and there suppose to check it out on their Dyno. I'm beginning to think that its a problem in production since that is 2 of the same model.
We'll see what GC says. I sent an email to KYB as well.

I went down and looked at a few of the AGXs that I have on the shelf, both new and used. What I noticed was that when they shock piston is out all of the way, that it make no noise like you described at all. However, when you push down on the shock piston, it does sound like there is oil or fluid moving around in it.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

That's what a helathy shock or strut should sound like. No air at all. Do you have any in stock for a B13 left rear. If Ground Control doesn't get it right I may have to buy one somewhere else.

tim,
my agxs had that funny slosh too IIRC it was like 9months ago that i put them on but i remember that since i played with them until i got the nerve to put them on.
anywho, the important thing is what in the world do you have up your sleave? im getting nervous here....
I JUST installed a brand new set of AGX's and they had that sound, all 4 of them. If there are no visible signs of leaking and the strut seems to rebound properly I'd say they were OK.
