I may be picking one up tomorrow. Anyone with a gray classic got some good pics of it? I don't recall the exact hue of what a gray classic looks like.

Thanks! :)

True, they usually look like ass. Why is it that grey fades so bad on classics?

Hey, I resemble that remark!!!

True, mine has completely lost it's paint on the roof and it's starting to leave the trunk as well. I have convinced myself that I am reducing weight and it will be good for autocrossing. One of these days, I will put paint back on. Just bought a compressor so I might have to use it for that.

How is it when I post this same topic in the Member's Ride section I get no replys! I too am picking up a grey Se-r (93 5-speed) in trade of my ruby red Se-r (93 A/T).

Kiko, you can add burgundy, white, and the ever-rare blue to your list. :D

Is that a standard defect on the gray classics? My roof and trunk look like crap but the rest of the car looks amazing.

I think the grey looks really good....just get it repainted. Its well worth it...that color is very rare on cars..and my favorite on the se-rs..oh well...just have to deal with my black one.

Ben? Good pic of a gray one or pic of a good gray one. =P
Heres mine. Actually looks much better than it does in person.

My favorites are this gray and the ruby pearl. I think i've seen the blue like once or twice on GXEs or somethin. Would love to see a good SE-R like that, might be a new fave.

Thanx, it's all an illusion. Pics are from last spring.
The roof and trunk are @ a bad viewing angle. In person it's really startin to look like shit. Oh yeah the pass side rear wheel well (YUUUK!), way rusty.
Drives nice still, specially round cones. =P

Here is a picture of my old PEARL SLATE GREY se-r. Grey was a funny color because some of them had a purple tint in it (mine did) which was hard for bodyshops to recreate when painting fenders and bumpers. Although going to my cousins bodyshop and looking at the swatch book, there were like 5 shades or KJ5. Go figure.

See what I mean? Look at the rear quarter vs the trunk. Two different shades. This was ** my cousin got his own place. That SE-R would have been sweeeeeet! R.I.P.!
