I have this broken sensor monted on this tranny and I have no idea what it is for. I am close to putting this motor and tranny into the car
please help me with this.

Its the crank position sensor for the obdII cars.

greg v got me mine...mine looked like yours...i wanna say it's 32-34 bucks...somewhere in there

His profile states he is driving a 91 and a 93 Sentra SE-R. Most likely he does not need the sensor. So he can either leave it in and put the tranny on or take it out and make a block off plate for it.

Thanks a bunch its my birthday and I got a broke crank sensor.
Mike you are correct, b13 I should have stated that.
This motor is going into a NX2K, and it is a JDM of unknown origin.
Thanks all you guys, my other 3 trannys do not have this sensor.
