: Ksports,Cusco installed on B14...
SLOW SR_ 05-04-2007, 01:04 PM Recieved my Cusco FSTB three days ago from the GB (thx happpynole),so I decided to get it installed along with my Ksports that were still in thier box.
My shop did an excellent job (yes,I am lazy:rofl: ) and the ride is very nice.I expected
bone jarring hits to my spine but instead they performed incredible on my 100 mile trip this morning.Pretty much zero roll in turns, the car glides over smooth pavement and can even handle some bumpy roads without it really affecting the driver.I am truly satified and love what they have done to the feel of my car.:biggthump

SLOW SR_ 05-06-2007, 02:55 AM Check the GB forum.:)
Sentrixx 05-06-2007, 06:24 PM what did you do to get rid of the camber?
SLOW SR_ 05-06-2007, 07:38 PM ^My shop did the alignment so I am not sure what they did as far as camber.
2dr_sentra 05-06-2007, 07:49 PM You dont have to worry about camber as much as toe. But your car looks good sits about as low as my H&R's
SLOW SR_ 05-07-2007, 12:34 AM Thanks,I checked the alignment printout and the everything is within specs. My biggest concern right now is getting the dampening more custom tuned to me.I will be doing some test driving after work this week.
How are the H&R springs anyway, what do you have them paired with strut wise?
I know H&R usually drops the car about 1.5" and thats the hieght I was shooting for.
SentraB14 05-07-2007, 01:06 AM Very nice man.
SLOW SR_ 05-11-2007, 07:10 AM Thanks man,now gimme those polished slips.;)

TommyD241 06-23-2007, 02:29 AM Looking good! Nice stance! So those k-sports are a done deal huh? Good dampening, adjustble height and adjustable camber?
SLOW SR_ 06-23-2007, 08:21 AM They are pretty good for the money I paid shipped to my door, after about 2 months of use, they have held up pretty good.My new rims and tires arrive on Tuesday and I will mount them so it will give me a chance to inspect them closely while the car is jacked up.
Pros are great cornering,I cant stress that enough,no body roll in sharp turns, very nice road feel and my wheel hop has been eliminated, especially in wet weather and spirited starts from redlights...hehe.Of course there is the adjustable dampening, height and camber adjustments, but for a daily you will only need to get it where you want it and leave it alone.
Cons are, they will click when turning like in a parking lot,not all the time, but you will hear it.They will squeek on some bumps, but it is very light and barely noticable to your ear,I dont hear it unless I turn my music off.You will feel the road, sometimes not in the best manner. Not horrible, but you will have to watch/know the roads in your area.
What I am saying is that it is a trade-off.You sacrifice some things for others, and you have to be sure of what you want. There are many other coilover choices, take your time, and look for what works for you.I got the K-sports cause they are a cheaper alternative to Teins coilovers, and for what i paid I am satified.
Search on suspension+B14,member SHAWNB made a thread about all the suspension choices out there, read it.;)
TommyD241 06-23-2007, 11:22 AM Yeah, I hear ya. There are several ways to go when it comes to our suspension. Its enough to make your head spin. I've really been eyeing those K-sports because you get an all-in-one setup and a good price. I just want a good street setup that eliminate my wheel gap but still be comfortable enough for my daily drive to work.
