As per title on a stock block ve motor whats the max hp/boost combo that can be done as long as you have the proper fueling, e.i. upgraded fuel pump, injectors and a properly tuned ecu?


Would it be safe to run a t25/28 at less than 10 psi?

Just to let you know we have had a few local guys run t3t4 set ups on stock VE's and they have been well into the 300's with no issues.

a t3/t4 setup with say 550's and a z32 maf at 10psi on a ve should get you 300hp easy

I know this guy from E.hartford with a NX with a sr20ve running a 60-1 and he made 365whp and made over 300lb of torque at 11 psi.The engine is stock.He runs his own modified ECU tuned by him.

Hey how good are these 60-1's on the VE's? Ive been trying to decide to go with a GT3071R or a 60-1. The 60-1 is nearly half the price of the 3071, hence why the delemer..... sorry for the hijack.

you planning on building the bottom end at all? My plan is det rods, pistons and crank... aim is 300kw at the wheels (around 410whp) :-)

nope... i plan on running low boost and building another motor on the side for high boost
if your building it, then you will have no problem with any turbo that has been used on a de.. it will only spool faster and harder with a ve
