I can't seem to get my bottle pressure over 900 psi? I am trying to get it around 1000-1100, but can't seem to get it. I have a zex wet kit with bottle heater. Any suggestions?

With a bottle heater you should have no problems. Have you weighed the bottle?

Yes it was just filled, the same thing seems to be happening to my buddy who also uses a zex kit in his car. I mean the car pulls like a mofo(75shot) I even took out a s2000 last night, but I just want to make sure I am getting the advertised hp.

get a pressure switch for the bottle warmer and a blanket. if your bottle has liquid in it the pressure is equal to the vapor pressure of the NO2 whitch will increase with pressure.

Zex bottle heaters do not get hot enough EVER!!!!! Personal exp. Get a NOS brand heater and watch out that shit gets toasty!

Make sure before you fill up the bottle its totally empty and I agree with ALLMOTORSENTRA get the NOS bottle warmer and keep an eye on the temp gage. Even in fall I never had problems building pressure higher than 900.

I mean I do get up to 900psi, but it takes like 20-30min's in like 60degree weather, which I think is a little long.

Get a NOS bottle heater, but you will have to jump the thermostat power to ground, this will bypass the thermostat and run it on the switch. I dont have regualtor for the bottle pressure, but I turn it on and off by hand once it hits 1100 psi. Just make sure you have a visible gauge. Mine is in my truck, and the bottle is under the back seat, I can see it and open the bottle from my drivers seat.

The nos brand does not get you to 1100 psi. Trust me, it only got me to 900-925

Good luck

Mines sort of the same. Nos brand, I just removed the thermostat and connected the wires that went to it. When it's on now, you can't touch it by hand or youll get burned. I can get as much pressure as I desire, though you don't need to go over 1100.

I have both my heaters on the thermostats!! Thermostat is under the strap of the heater as per instructions and i get 1100 all day long!! Now do me a favor and forget to turn off the heater w/o the thermostat!!!!!!!! The local speed shop had pics at the counter of a guy that parked his "racecar" in the garage with the heater on (now the burst disc should have let go but I don't know what actually happen) The car looked like a shark bit off the r/r it was pretty amazing

My battery dies before it'll let the bottle get that hot. I do it all the time.

Oh and I've blow those safety dics 5 or 6 times now.

Sounds like there is no excuse for ignorance......

Yes, that true, the battery will die before it burns up. I have my heater on for 30 minutes before and it got up to 142 degrees....the only way youre burn shit is by putting something flammable next to it.

Actually no. If a car had a VERY good battery, and the safety disc were to fail, as mentioned above, the heater could stay on long enough to blow the bottle. I've seen pics once where it happened, and the car was parked in a garage. The pics of what happened showed pieces of the car that were stuck through the garage door.
