98 SE is sold to forum member jheer. :D It's about time huh! :)

Since I already sold my NX to forum member focus, I needed a car to replace it with. Last night I made a trek to Chicago and bought forum member akapaul's 92 Slate Pear Gray Classic. Car has 117k, NO rust (not even in the door jambs!), Tokico shocks (dead) and some Prokit-ish lowering springs, not sure what, Momo Apache steering wheel, Konig Tuner 15" rims, and some alarm system with power door locks. Clutch slipping BADLY. I adjusted the cable out tons and tons and got it drivable so I could get it home. Going to swap it out for a decent spare clutch today. Car is a stripper SE-R with AC the only mod. AC works great and has already been converted to R134a. No sunroof, no cruise, etc. akapaul sold it to me graciously for $1500. It has the typical gray SE-R paint issues, which is ok, because there's no rust!

Looked thru all the wonderful service records Paul gave me for the car. Know why the car has no rust? Because it was an Arizona car for most of it's life! :) Some of the service records have many odd names on it, but most of them speak of a Richard Tey. He was from Tempe. Anyone know him?

The clutch was replaced on this thing at 61k and now is absolutely dead at 117k. WTF?

Why did you get rid of a 98 b14 sentra, to get a 92 b13 shit box! You got ripped on that one! Both in looks and power!

Uh, no he didn't..... many of us feel the B14 falls short in "edge" compared to the B13, and a well running stock 91-93 is faster than a 98.

1. Looks? Debatable. The paint is an issue, but I'm not a ricer so I don't really care about it. I plan to get it repainted.

2. Power? That 92 will kick the crap out of my 98 in any contest of speed. Better cams, lighter weight, VLSD, etc. etc.

3. I've owned a B14 for 2 1/2 years. I started driving my first B13 last September. I personally prefer "shitbox B13s" to B14s anyday. (not that B14s are bad at all).

I've also eliminated 5 more years of paying for my 98 B14. More money for mods, etc etc etc.

Now, tell me where I got ripped again?

Same here. Something about the B13 that is better. It almost feels like more torque, I can't really explain it.

I know all b14 owners will agree that a 95-99 b14 is 10 times better than a b13!! If you have a b13 you have to throw all the money you have into mods because your looks are just not there. But it still isnt enough to help??

Hey, umm, WE ARE B14 OWNERS. Both Storm88000 and I are. We prefer B13s. We just said that. Nice logic...

Now if you're just going to talk shit you will force me to ban you. You can say you disagree and like B14s better, that's just fine. We will respect you for that. But saying B14s are cosmicly better than B13s is prejudiced and stupid. Neither are "better." They are nothing but hunks of metal and fluids. Stormy and I just happen to prefer B13s after getting tastes of both.

Ok, I'm assuming you're not a troll due to your post count. But you are ignorant. I personally own a B14, and love it. But if I had a chance to get out of it with the payments into a nice B13. WATCH OUT! So apparently ALL B14 owners don't agree with you.

Congrats Ben!! Although my vote on the name would be EvilOverlord.

On a side note. My brother owns a B13, and it does "feel" faster then my car.

I said nothing about the 98 being better than the 92. I just said the b14 is better than the b13. I have a 95 so mine didnt come stock with a sr20. Now I have primera engine and that is better than a 91-94 se-r engine any day! Back to the point b14s look nicer ,and go faster. With the right mods and a good driver.
