This is my other ride aside from my G20. It's a 1990 Honda Elite s with an Elite SR's engine. It's still a 50, but has a variator (for variating speed and accel) bigger and more ports in cyl, better intake manifold too. I have put on a boost bottle and stronger clutch springs for the centrifugal clutch to grab at a higher rpm. I ported the exhaust and intake in the cyl and ported the intake manifold. I gutted the exhaust and welded back together. (sounds like a dirt bike) UNI air filter. Fatter, better tires. Rear shock has dampening. I also disabled the oil injection to run pre-mix. Does great smoke shows and can ride on the rear wheel pretty decent. Does about 40 mph on flat surface. Replaced rear tail assembly with 400ex tail light with led directionals. Painted fronts red.

I had a spree once too. I liked that style a lot. Go to your honda dealer and get the biggest jet. It's going to most likely need it. Max out the a/f screw and use a fresh plug. I usually tune mine with WOT and playing with the a/f screw. When it clears up. I will use a fresh plug. Ride it for a while and see if it's a nice brown color. I aslo had to raise the needle on mine. I'll see what I can do about a video ;)

Hell ya, that's awesome! I bet that thing is loud going down the road. We need some vids.
I have the variator mod and cdi box mod done on mine. I have a cone filter for it but I am not looking forward to finding the right jet to use.
Do you know, how hard is it to do the spark plug read to find the right jet? I may have our scooter shop do it for me.
Yes, loud. Which variator mod? The ramp plate removal? How did that CDI box help out? Was it worth it. Where have you seen parts for these things?

Oh, sorry, I don't have a Honda. I have an 06 Kymco Agility 50 4-stroke. Stock it topped out at 35mph but the scooter shop(scootertherapy.com) did both mods for me free when I bought it from them. After the 2 mods, it increased to 47mph. I also added the little tinted windshield which helped get me to 50mph, and a racing stripe to get me to 60mph. It has a decent top speed but it needs help in the acceleration department.
Fixed that for you :biggthump

Whats the MPG?
I dunno, ridiculous I would guess. I ripped out the cluster to fit in a retrofitted HID kit ;) Real racers don't need speedometers lol
